NSF Int’l Student Research Internship - In January 2022 Carli Koenig of Missouri Southern State University was chosen from 4 student applicants as the NSF International Student Research Intern for 2022. Carli is working on her research project throughout the spring with guidance from her mentor, Program Director Teresa Boman at MSSU. Carli is excited to present her research work at the NEHA Annual Education Conference in late June.
AEHAP Student Research Competition - Four SRC winners and three runners-up have been selected from the 18 eligible submissions representing 8 program schools. The faculty judges had a challenging time getting through the judging to a selection. The judges have no idea of student demographics or program school as they review each submission to a points-based scoring rubric. A big thank you for all your excellent work to our 2022 SRC Committee Judges and our Co-chairs Jamie Hisel of EKU and Kim Lichtveld of Univ. of Findlay. An extra big thank you to all of the students who participated in the 2022 Student Research Competition and the program faculty who encouraged their students. We’ll be sharing all the SRC presenter details in the 2022 AEHAP Student Symposium announcement. The symposium is a virtual event on Tuesday May 10, 2022 3:00 to 5:00pm EDT. The 4 SRC winners and 3 runners-up will present their projects. Full announcement and sign-ups coming soon.
