AEHAP Bids Farewell - July 2024

After 25 years AEHAP has bid farewell as a support organization for EH academic programs and their students.  During the 2024 National Environmental Health Association's (NEHA) Annual Education Conference AEHAP hosted a farewell open house event and enjoyed one last year sponsoring the Student Research Competition (SRC).  We were grateful to be passing the baton for the SRC over to NEHA who will continue the annual Student Research Competition as the sponsor and coordinator.

Handoff to EHAC

The goal and work to help more people graduate with Environmental Health degrees from an EHAC accredited program continues.  In May 2024 the AEHAP Board voted to cover the cost of continuing this website for a trial year use by EHAC.

A new EHAC committee is forming to explore and develop pathways to strengthen and support the diverse group of EHAC Accredited EH Programs on campuses across the nation.  The uses and content of this website will be a work in progress, through the collaborative efforts of the new committee with the guidance of the EHAC Executive Director and Board.  Program directors, faculty and staff of accredited programs are encouraged to participate.
